In this oral training course, we will build on the listening and speaking skills students have already developed to practice discussing a wider range of topics at a more sophisticated level. Students will practice in this course articulating clear, effective messages using the skills of assertive communication. Effective communication should always be the students’ main goal whenever they try to convey a message across. They will also have the opportunities to do role-plays, give formal and informal presentations, and even debate with their peers and teacher. Much class time will therefore be devoted to student-led activities to maximize students’ learning opportunities.
